Every baby has been completely different and I've learned something new each time. Here's my honest experience with breastfeeding — the good, the hard, and everything in between.

Every Baby Is Different

idk if this makes sense but breastfeeding is just such a rollercoaster for me! I feel so grateful to be able to do it but it's also really really hard and I think we don't talk about that enough. with each of my three girls it's been a completely different experience and I've learned so much.

With Stella

I was a brand new mom and had NO idea what I was doing. like zero. I remember crying in the hospital because she wouldn't latch and I felt like such a failure. looking back I wish someone had told me that it takes time and that's normal. we eventually figured it out but those first few weeks were rough.

With Ozzy

so much easier the second time around bc I knew what to expect. but she was a completely different baby with different needs. she was a snacker — wanted to eat every hour for like 10 minutes hahah. I learned to just go with it and stop trying to force a schedule.

With Cherry

Cherry has been my easiest nurser which is such a blessing bc everything else is more chaotic with three kids hahah. but I've also been more gentle with myself this time. if I need to supplement, I supplement. if I need a break, Tanner gives her a bottle. no guilt. just doing what works for our family.

What I Wish Every New Mom Knew

fed is best. period. whether that's breast, bottle, formula, combo — whatever keeps your baby healthy and YOU healthy is the right choice. I'm so tired of the judgment around this topic. you're doing amazing no matter how you feed your baby ❤️

if you're in the thick of it right now and struggling, please know it gets easier. and if it doesn't get easier, it's okay to pivot. you are so much more than how you feed your baby :,)

My New Mom-Life Secret Weapon: Skechers Hands-Free Slip-Ins (and the Girls are Obsessed Too!)

Okay, you guys know I keep it real, and today I just HAD to spill the beans on something that's been a total game-changer for my crazy mom life. We're talking about shoes here, but not just any shoes – these are the ones that are saving my sanity and making getting out the door just a little bit easier. No more wrestling with laces or trying to balance a baby while putting on my shoes, thank goodness! :,)

Our Sweet Cherry's First Big Adventure: Hawaii with a Newborn!

Okay you guys, Cherry's first trip to Hawaii was everything and more. I was a little nervous traveling with a newborn, ngl, but seeing her little face light up (or just sleep peacefully, hahah) made it all worth it. It felt like a dream, and I'm still pinching myself.
