What Everyone Says vs Reality

okay so before Cherry was born literally EVERYONE told me "two to three is the hardest transition" and ngl it freaked me out a little hahah. like thanks for the encouragement guys?? but now that we're in it I have some thoughts and I wanted to be real with you about all of it.

What's Actually Harder

the logistics. oh my gosh the logistics. going anywhere with three kids requires like military-level planning. I have to make sure I have enough hands (thank God for Tanner) and enough snacks (the most important thing honestly). also someone is ALWAYS needing something. always. I haven't gone to the bathroom alone in months hahah.

What's Actually Easier Than I Expected

here's the thing nobody told me — by the third baby you actually know what you're doing. like with Stella I was googling everything at 3am in a panic. with Cherry I'm like "oh she's fussy, she's probably tired" and I just handle it. the confidence that comes with experience is real and it makes such a difference.

The Best Part Nobody Talks About

watching your older kids become big sisters. I literally cannot talk about this without crying hahah. Stella is SO nurturing and responsible and Ozzy is the sweetest most gentle soul with Cherry. they fight over who gets to hold her and who gets to pick her outfit. my heart is so full it could burst :,)

What I Wish I'd Known

that it's okay to not have it all together. that some days the house is a mess and dinner is cereal and that's FINE. that asking for help isn't weakness it's wisdom. and that the love doesn't divide — it multiplies. I was so worried about that and I shouldn't have been. there is more than enough love to go around ❤️

to any mama about to have her third — you've got this. it's wild and chaotic and beautiful and you're going to be amazing at it. I promise :,)

You guys know I'm always asking for your help with my outfits, bc tbh I'm the most indecisive person on the planet hahah. This time was a real crunch, like we were leaving in an hour and I had NO CLUE what to wear. It happens to the best of us, right?!

Okay, so we just did family photos and ngl, it was a whole thing. Think head-butts, meltdowns, and me wondering if we'd get *anything* good. But then I saw the pics and my heart just melted, bc these moments, even the chaotic ones, are everything to me.
